Love and friendship compete
I see him and it makes me melt into a puddle of joy
I see her and I immediately smile
He’s amazingly and unbearably wonderful
She is there at any time of any day for whenever I need her
But to choose one?
How could I choose between the boy whom I love and the girl who always has my back?
He is there for me when she can not be
She is there for me when I need to talk about him
I love them both so dearly and wouldn’t ever wish a harm to be done to either one
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter anymore because he is long gone and has taken my heart and soul with him
She is there and he isn’t
The decision is always hard but the answer is always there
No one, no boy, no parent, no problem should ever interfere in the relationship between a girl and her best friend
